I had a 100 count box of conventional Valencias. Here is my stats:

• 6 minutes to make 1/2 gallon of OJ
• 4 1/2 gallons made using about 90 oranges

So there you have it. 30 minutes for a maximum profit of 2.00 per 1/2 gallon means 8 dollars profit in 30 minutes for 16 dollars profit per hour.

Not exactly enough to put me on par with Donald Trump now is it?

Oh and on other thing. I tend to down 1-3 of these 1/2 gallons per day when I’m mono-dieting… so let’s see. 30 minutes to make a whole days “food” is not bad at all. and at 20.00 per box, we are spending 20.00 for 1.5 days of food.

So, my setup is fine for intense personal use, but I can forget megabucks!
